I am glad to hear that you’ve accepted and embraced your role as Little Miss Scatterbrain. It was only a matter of time.

Sweet Pickles! Total flashback. I remember I used to get a series of books as well. It came with a cardboard holder/box and the front would swing open like a picket fence. It taught you manners and and how to treat other people as you would like to be treated. I especially remember the book on prejudices and that not all Mexicans are lazy nor all Jews penny-pinchers. Oddly enough, at age 8ish, I didn’t know much about how prejudiced people can be so it only put them in my head instead of taking them out. NOT saying that I was a bigot as an 8-year old. I always looked forward to the new books arriving.

Hi Jo, trying to find some words of encouragement for you cause you seem so lost. All i can suggest is that since running is one of your “things you like” maybe a marathon could be in your future, or half marathon. (hint hint)..we always enjoy welcoming new members even if they don’t live in NY. In my opinion just the fact that you are beautiful and intelligent is enough!!!!

I’ve been looking for a my area of expertise for years or even a hobby for crying out loud. The only thing I can think of is that I’m quite good at insulting people and making inappropriate jokes. If I’m having a good day, I can even make someone cry. That’s not really something to write home to mom about.

You’ve already one-upped me on the knitting, the painting, the drawing, the writing, the cooking…Need I go on?

The craft bug bit me too. Scrapbooks. Perhaps still a little elementary in my skills, but at least I’m consistent. Nice job on the watercolor. It would look beautiful in my bathroom. And that is supposed to be a compliment. I hope you took it that way.
